Default 9500 Miles Showroom Storage....

Well a lot of variables come in to play here. First is whether or not it is Stick or automatic? Is it a Numbers matching car? is the original Carburetor and smog system still in place?color the car and the interior? almost 50% were lime Green Metallic and 60% had automatics. My car sold in Days, not weeks. It was white with Saddle interior and original numbers matching car 428 4 speed. 85,000 miles. needed a paint job and was advertised at $64,500. I still am receiving e-mails and phone calls for a car that left my House on Dec. 4th! The last e-mail asked me, "Looks like a nice car, why so inexpensive?" so there is a case in point to look at. in my honest opinion without knowing the Facs I posed initially, I would say it is a safe bet to start the Bidding @ $70,000 and believe that if it is lets say "Red" with a 4 speed and air conditioning rolling on original tires with all factory documents in place, right on down to the original spare. Rolling up the Block at Barrett-Jackson with Carroll Shelby standing at the podium, this car would do over $150,000 and possibly even hit $300,000!! But those are some pretty heavy variables involved. BUT, Not at all impossible. Some people do not consider Shelby's produced after 1967 to be "True Shelby's" since they were no longer modified at the Los Angeles Facility. But that does not matter at all. Carroll Shelby was not down in the trenches with the Wrenches!! But he was there making design changes and approvals etc. I believe the 1968 GT500 (Non KR) is the most undervalued Muscle car out there and will see a Meteoric Rise in the next Twelve months.
