I also saw that there were 90 available as of close yesterday. I pre-printed the necessary forms from the dmv website and had them in hand and complete @7:15am this morning jan 4th. As soon as the door opened at 8:am I showed my receipts wrote a check for taxes and fees. I was told that the sacramento branch had only one phone line handling sb100 #'s & the last one they did yesterday took 2 1/2 hours to get through. she called over and over getting through around 8:20am. I was issued sb100 #190 (must not be in sequence). She told me there were only 36 left at that time.

For those of you who did not make it she said they could issue temporary registrations so the car could be driven this year
