Default Slecting a Gear Reduction Starter for 351W
I have the 385HP 351W FMS Crate engine with a Tremic 5 speed. I do not know the tooth count on the fly wheel. I did not build the car. Should I assume that a starter for 157 tooth fly wheel? What about this 3/8 or 3/4" offset question?

According to the Summit catalog I would select the PWM-9503 if I wanted a PowerMaster starter. What about the newly listed FMS racing mini-starter? I believe it is for SBs with 157 teeth flywheels. Is it a gear reduction? How do you decide between the 1.1 kw or 1.6 kw super torque version?
