Default foggy tachometer

Would it be normal for my Smith's tachometer to fog up?

I garage my car (garage is around 60 and I keep a soft cover over it) but when I take the car out in the cold (35-45 degrees) the tach fogs up. So far there does not seem to be a problem but I would rather nip it in the bud especially while it is still under SPF warranty. This occurred even before the heavy rains we have had. The fog seems to clear after I drive it and the outside air warms up but I just haven't put many miles on recently.

Thoughts?

Tom
