Jim, that title can be a major problem for you. I don't think CA will allow a title with the car registered as a 1965. Most of the titles were illegal when registered with CA. Call the DMV yourself, give them the title # and let them tell you what's up. Don't believe the dealer, they just want to sell the car. You could wind up with a car you can't drive until you re-register it under the new SB100. They only issue 500 numbers per year and this years are gone. If that car has an SB100 number already then you won't have a problem.
