Default So I can avoid counting flywheel teeth

I appreciate all the information so far as I attempt to understand whether I have a 164 tooth or 157 tooth flywheel. I did not build the car but it has a 385HP 351W crate engine with tremic so I believe it has the 157 tooth flywheel.

Can someone explain the relationship of the Ford SB starter offsets of 3/8" and 3/4" and the flywheel diameter? If I can understand this relationship I can remove my starter and measure this offset and determine if I have the larger diameter flywheel (164) or the smaller (157). Thanks
