I just bought a Ford gear reduction starter for my 65 Vintage racer,331 cu in,13.0 to 1 compression.......A buddy told me about using this starter,he has had one on his 65 GT-350 race car for the last 9 years with NO problems,he's running a 331 cu in also,14 to 1 compression,dynoed at 585 hp, it is a Ford starter,ask for a starter for a 1993 T-bird with a 302 cu in engine,they are $70.00 plus $15.00 core charge at O'Riellys.....
