Just asked a question. I appreciate your looking into it in any case. My initial question was a local one, asked in the BACC. Because someone works at that terminal, someone has seen my head. As for contacting someone locally, that would be a beautiful thing, except the numbers are unlisted and nobody wants to "let" me drop in at the terminal without notice. I will be going to see them tomarrow. I'm sure they've been tripping over this thing since it became separated from it's shipping sleeve. Hopefully someone matches the description with the lost inquiry.
The trouble is getting to the person who knows. Like many firms Fedex shipping terminals have unlisted numbers with names and locations kept confidential, for good reason.
As for me... I happen to work for about the largest engineering firm in the world. 27,000 people world wide. I have access to every persons name and private office number for any of thousands of offices worldwide. I may or may not be able to share that information but I can make the call. We screw things up all the time. I promise you (all of you) even you freddie that if something you have a personal interest in were ever mired in the buracratic nightmare that is corporate america at my firm I would motivate someone to do something...
The fact is I have been lied to and by at least three Fedex Ground employees in the past week. I blame nobdy for losing my head. I absolutly blame them for lying to me (and from the responses in Consumer Watch many of you as well).
I'm guessing "airbills" are generated for ground shipments too? The heads were pagaged one per sleeve under two different tracking numbers. Anyway thanks for looking into it.
