Monster Mike is right. Come to breakfast on any Saturday morning to see a wide variety of cars (well ok, if it is raining then only Chuck comes in the red car) to look at and ask questions of the owners. You mentioned you were interested in open track, we have a member who wrecked his car and was very seriously injured at the track. There is essentially no protection in this car. Also, lots of tracks have noise limits that were probably not an issue with your Maranello but for sure will be in a Cobra. It can be done (short shifting etc.) but it is not the fast way around the track. Talk to Terry, he has a street car and a track car and can help. Come to breakfast and you can be President of the club.
