Be careful when considering this engine.
It looks to me like it is a marine block. I can tell because two of the three "sideoiler humps" have had some material ground off. Call him and ask. Also ask if the core plugs are brass. marine blocks used brass. I would want to inspect this engine in person. in particular, I would want to look into the block's water-jacket to see if it lived in salt water. Also I would want the pan removed to inspect the cylinders and rotating assembly. If the crankshaft is out of a reverse rotating engine, it will most likely leak out the rear seal when used in normal rotation direction. These are just a few points.
