JayBar,
The "global" you are talking about is an actual PPG line of paint. It is really PPG Global. Yes it is/was sold in the international market before it came to America. If you find a PPG "Platinum Dealer" they should be able to get the American version (i.e. quarts and gallons vs liters) formulas for you. Or if it is done by grams, it may not matter. Look in the yellow pages under "auto paint stores/retailers" and find a PPG dealer listed as Platinum. I don't know where Jupiter Florida is, but if you are near any big city there should be a Platinum dealer.
If all else fails, contact me as I have a PPG Platinum dealer near me, who could possibly help.
I believe Backdraft has changed paint lines for higher number cars (not sure when they started) and are now using Akzo-Sikkens brand. Super paint, and not cheap! But, neither was Global!
Whoops, I just read Tony Martins response. He may have the answer for you, and hopefully you can buy that paint near where you live. You will still need and automotive PPG dealer to mix it for you, or a PPG bodyshop with a PPG mix system.
