I'm not sure what you mean by "correct wiper operation". If you are referring to the sweep arc of the wipers (how far the wipers travel from side to side), I can only tell you of my experience. I bought a used set up from Bethina Garage (I think. It was 10 years ago so hard to remember). Much later, after installation, I noticed that the passenger side only travelled about half way across the windshield. By this time, I had had the dash installed and everything, so it was too late to change it . I know, I should have tested it before completing the dash, but I didn't. Anyway, I decided to redo some wiring and change the heater etc, so I had an opportunity to check out the wipers. It turns out that the wiper posts ( the part that sticks out from the body where the blades attach) had different diameter gears on them. I called Paula at Finish Line and she sent me the correct size. Now the wipers work the way they were supposed to in the first place.
