I have a 351w and my engine builder installed a steel fuel line and runs about a half an inch up and over and around the water pump. Wondering if the heat from the water pump could cause vapor lock? What happens is, after the engine warms up and I turn it off and let it set for a short time and get in and turn it over and as I take off sometimes it misses and sputters and chokes and then it clears up after a short time? Is there an insulator I can rap around the fuel line in that area as a fix? Any ideas
