I, too, used the Finishline aluminum brackets to mount the mirror to the windshiled mounting frame. Holes lined right up and the bracket works left or right.

One comment though. The left side was a major improvement since it got the mirror above the fender. The right side wasn't as successful though since the mirror is designed to be mounted with the bolt end pointing down. This would allow whatever rotation would be needed to get it pointed at the driver. However, since the mirror gets mounted with the bolt in the horizontal, the up and down adjstment becomes the l/r and there just isn't enough to get mirror pointed at the driver. It's close but no cigar. Again, I'm yalking about the Right Side. FWITW
