Sorry to side track the subject, but who's ammeter are you running with a 100 amp alternator? I know my smiths goes nuts when my fan comes on, I run an 80 amp. Autometer suggests using no more thsn a 60 amp alternator with their unit. Are you running a voltmeter instead?
