I have a 1969 350 SBC with a TH350 auto trans. I found the following 4 spd Super t10 on Ebay:
13-04-065-903 Borg Warner Super T10 that I pulled out of a 1974 Trans Am. The date code WF1043 means it is a warner gear built on June 10th 1974 on 2nd shift. The Vin #24N160442 indicates that it is for a Pontiac 1974 built in Norwood, Ohio. This is a "P" ratio tranny 2.43 1st gear, 1.76 2nd gear, 1.47 3rd gear, 1.00 4th gear, with a 2.35 reverse gear. It has a 1 1/8" dia. 26 spline input shaft and a 32 spline output shaft.
Will it fit my NAF Cobra? I need to get an economical 4 speed in the car. I drive 90% around town, so a 5th gear is not a requirement. I have about a day and a half left on Ebay and it is listed at $400.
Any ideas? Includes bell housing. Jet coated.
