FE are not a mystery. Any good Ford shop manual from the era will do the job. Chiltons has several. Galaxy / Fairlaine, Mustang / Cougar and Ford Truck repair manuals all cover the care and feeding of an FE. Change the oil, occasional tune up...

The last one I bought was at a garage sale. $5 the 1964-1973 limited edition shop manual it's about 300 pages.
