First we had to make a bracket for the fuel pump to mount to because the section of the frame was not wide enough to accomidate the wideth o fthe pump. Nice piece of 1/4 plate steel ARGH!!
We mounted it on the frame piece that makes up the trunk. I think we used the same bolt hole that fastens the fuel cell down so as not to drill any unnecessary holes. God knows I did enough of that in other places
You have to remember my fuel pump is made to accomidate cars 400-1200 horsepower. This was the only fuel pump that would power the 40lb fuel injectors in the motor. It is made by Aeroquip via Summitt. If you look under the car just in front of the pumpkin you can see the pump and the bracket. You can hear the pump come on right before ignition. Hope this helped.
