Short story is that the drivetrain is in and motor fires and runs. Haven't driven it yet and just pulled the primary and sidepipes off and sent them to Russ Meeks for coating. That will take about 3 weeks and then it should be time to get it drivable. It might take a little longer as I just ordered a new wiring harness from KMP -- they just came out with a Painless based system. Of course, I have to make it more difficult by keeping the firewall populated with all the current lucas components and join the two harness together.
Good news is that it WILL BE at the historics this year. I've got the ich pretty strong as I just got back from SAAC and some of crew had their cars at the track. Was cool to see, but would have rather seen it from inside kmp253 on the track.
