The locker would work and not break but it tends to be more violent locking and unlocking. Tex racing recomended the non agressive tru trac because of the wheel base of the car and the power. I have driven a locker before, it works great but is a bit crude. You probably will not break the tremec but eventually, it will start hanging up on downshifts. In the syncro assembly, there are little rectangle detents, the ends chip off or crack and it causes a hang up on down shifts. It happend 3 times to me on two different tremecs. D&D has seen this occur in the 5 and 6 speed tranny's. Just drive it like a little old lady. Scott
