Thanks Tony. I kept thinking I would need some special arm or linkage on the rear carb to cut in at 3/4 or full throttle, but your advice is confirmed by what I've read on the various websites that the Lokar cable works by starting off at idle with about 3/4" of slack in the cable, a little tension at 1/2 throttle and cable operating the trans lever at WOT.
