Alternator problem again!!
Got the new sloted braket from march. The alternator lined up great! Bolts are fine just need to find a sleeve for the adjustable rod so the bolt won't rattle. My problem is that the lead coming out of the alternator is rubbing against my Vic Jr. heads!!! I'm using a summit alternator 1 wire 100amp. The only issue is where the lead is located. Can I just boot the lead after I attach it to the brackets? Will it ground through the the motor if it touches?
