I'm pretty sure that's the case.....that's why my Mr. Gasket dipstick for a SBF that I bought at Autozone shows the
oil level right at the full mark....even though it's a 7 quart pan.
I'm just trying to be 100% sure.....so that I can be safe in the fact that my engine hasn't used a couple quarts of
oil in the past few running times....
