What Bmalone said is pretty accurate. I had one with the dual Hollys in a Galaxie, but it had a pretty radical cam and I could drive it in town as long as I kept the RPMs up to around 2300 if I recall. That was many years ago. I believe mine idled at around 1400/1500 RPM. Best I can remember my cam had a lift of about .625 and a 312 duration with around 90 degree overlap. Not a street cam. The cam came in around 3800 and I had 3:91 gears. But tame it down and it would have made an awsome motor for a Cobra.
