Michael4yah, I'll mark you down.

Also regarding the pulleys, I too was more impressed with ball bearings than bushings.
But after talking with AllStarLift's owner, he said that they used to use ball bearings but that the failure rate on them were substantially higher than the bushing. That is why AllStarLift is using the bushing style pulleys.
I'm not an engineer, so I don't know which is better under what circumstances.
Maybe there are cheap ball bearning pulleys and better ones.
Maybe bushings do require service. Maybe it's only based on use such that a hobbyist may never need to service such an item -- I don't know.
If you have any further information to share, please do so we can all benefit.
Since I've already said I was going to purchase an AllStarLift, I'm still going to do that ... but that doesn't mean that I can't upgrade the pulleys later ... cuz I do like to mod things!
