I met Phil on the Thursday night and spent Friday out at the track with him. What a great bloke. He even drove me in to Benalla to get some extra engine
oil. That car of his is a very nice machine and the car sounds and goes great. And there is nothing wrong with the way he drove it. He got around the track very nicely.
I think IMHO all the cars regardless of the engine make did an excellent job all weekend.
To drive hundreds of Ks to get to Wagarratta then complete a full day at Winton driving hard (2 days for some).
Then drive 200k's to Heathcote for some hard dragging then back home again.
WOW! What a testament to the build quality of these Aussie beasts.
