Did you buy the wheels new from Trigo? There should have been a adjustment ring in there packed with the hubs.

To cut the wheel studs I just used a cut off wheel on a hand grinder. Measured the distance needed from the brake face then ran a stock type lug nut down to the mark cut the stud to the outside face of the lugnut then backed the lug nut off. I asked a couple of people if the heat generated would effect the lug and was told no. Your other choice is to pull your rotors and then install new lugs the length needed.
Do not forget to use antiseize when instanlling the wheels and spinners to the hubs
