I suppose some race transmission manufacturer make their stuff different lengths like G-force on their five speed have a 7.100" front shaft length (I think)

Will keep you posted, by the way I used to drive a Seanz dog box on the street, and the long and the short of it is "dont let anyone else drive the car" and there is no problem!
