Take your hood hinge to Jensen Manufacturing in Alexandria (right off Duke St.), tell them to make you one in aluminum. They won't look at you funny when you tell them it's for a Cobra.

If you want to trim 100# off your front end, get rid of the stock MII rack. That puppy is all cast iron, and weighs a ton.
