Thanks, Karl. I didn't know they had a machine shop in their stores. There's a Checker at Cave Creek and Tatum that seems pretty decent. Back in SC, I don't think AutoZone did that (and I'm not sure I would have trusted them to, anyway).

Less than 30K on my DD and I'm getting a squeal/grind from the right rear. Seems pretty early for that to me. Is it possible to get a piece of sand/gravel in the drum? Does the desert do anything strange to brakes that I should know about?
