Wheels, Traindriver is right; a good linkage set-up that opens/closes the carbs at the same rate is about the most important thing to make these things work. When you get your system right you will LOVE them.
I would advise you stay away from Inglese unless you need a piece of linkage or some minor part that you cannot get elsewhere.
Many people on this site can give very accurate info on jets, cams, proper timing advance, etc. These carbs are very streetable. I've found that the people that say they aren't have never owned a set.
