Finally I ordered a Weber kit from top performance for $3295, and for $185 a fuel line to fit. That same kit costs at Inglese now $4995.
Unless you are an absolute rookie to car mechanics, you should get the best deal from a reputable vendor. Top performance will give you technical assistance. With a few phonecalls there and some info and feedback from fellow clubcobra members one should get a weber kit fine tuned sooner or later.
I did not consider the EFI option, because I have enough hassle at work with computers/software and computing is no joy for me. I want to keep my hobby "computerless" except for surfing the internet.
I prefer carbs and the mechanics of it and would not like the massive cable harness associated with an EFI system.
