Take it from someone who knows these engines, the new Z06 is being badly constrained by emissions and warranty issues. The 427 in my C5 makes 528 RWHP, and my heads don't flow nearly as well as the new LS7s. Given a stronger cam and a better flowing exhaust system, the new Z06s will be over 500 RWHP in a flash.
