"Stupid" is probably too strong a word but certainly "interesting" would apply. ;-)
Motor seems to run free and easy - no fuses blown - although it makes a little more noise than I expected it would. DV's instructions included running the blue wire to ground - done that.
Would slightly crimping the cable tube accomplish the same thing - to apply some resistance?
