Default Thermo Fan

I found that by setting my thermo fan at around 88 I don't get into trouble. My radiator is a little flat and the air tends to go over the top. Got some sheet metal work to do. When I pull up at the lights etc the temperature can rise rather dramaticly with the fan set too high. When I had it set higher one day I pulled up at Ringwood Speedo's and when I came out there was water everywhere. The bottom radiator hose had blown off. The staff
carried out bottles of water to refill the radiator. God bless em.
When ever I know I am going to pull up and stop I always turn the fan on manually for a bit to help cool the beast down.

My fan is totally auto with no kill switch. Unfortuately it is a pain in the butt when you stop somewhere and the residual heat turns the fan on
