You can order whichever version input shaft you need from Jerico. When I recently decided to try the Jerico from my 428FE, I tried it "as is" for a mockup in my 302 Mustangs McLeods scattershield (previously run with a T5). The FE length input was too short to either even touch the discs splines, or for the tip to even touch the back of the pilot bearing. The T5 uses a considerably longer input shaft, & obviously, a deeper bellhousing. However, a phone call to Jerico quickly provided the required length input, with the correct Mopar 1 3/16" x 18 spline "Hemi" spline that is needed for my McLeod "soft lok" clutch. Jerico can provide whatever input is needed for most combinations, although thay don`t make an input with the small input Toploader dimensions (1 1/16"x10 spline), at least for the 4 speed Jerico drag race trans.
