I used the standard VN tank as per CR. I had similiar problems trying to see how it should fit in. You would think if it was made for VN tank the ting would just bolt in. I made up my own straps and fitted nutserts in the rear bar which supports tank. There are some nutserts provided in the front area where strap can mount but in the end I only used the driverside mounting point and provided the 3 others using the nutserts (M8) With mine you can undo rear bolts and drop tank downward for access which I needed to do on the first firing on motor as the intank pump/motor died & I had to replace. I bought a secondhand tank and from what they all say the motors dont survive to well once they dry out for some time, so my advise if you go this way buy a new pump/motor ass'y as they are only about $30 and dont wont it to die on the way to Wakefield or Winton on year
