Earl,
It is so good to have you back. You have been missed around here. I can not imagine what you have been through.
As for the dog thing:
Look I want to make one thing crystal clear hear. I love dogs, period. Im fact we are getting a new Minerature snouser (sp) in about eight weeks. He was born on 5-2-5 and the kids have named him all ready. I have always had a dog and they are truly mans best friend.
That being said I like food to. I just do not like squash. Ok big deal.
What we have is a crazy dog that the owner could care less about helping. She has the means to stop the barking but won't. Yes call her psycho, if the shoe fits. Why should the dog be punished if the owner is the problem? That is a very good question. The only answer I could come up with is that to my knowledge no one make a transponder for stupid people. The way Ron and I are going about this is the most human way to stop the barking dog. It does not hurt the dog at all, so we are told. It is a training device used by professionals and they are for the most part very expensive for what they are.
It is far less expensive to kill the dog. We have both chosen NOT to do that, but to put up with the constant barking until we can solve the issue in an adult manner.
Yes I love dogs to. But if you want to know what we are going through, go to Petsmart and buy a DVD that has a dog barking on it. Go home and put it in your home stereo and trun the volume up as far as it will go and play it 24 HOURS a day. You will get the picture, and in short order.
I too would rather have a peacefull existance and be able to use my yard and enjoy it. Soon I will be able to do that and co exist with the still living neighbores dog.
Kristen:
Good luck at AER.
