I agree 100% that the Barking from the Dog is a problem.
I also agree that the Dog is Not doing it out of SPITE.
The dogs "OWNER" is the problem....the dog is almost as much of a victim as you guys are, sometimes even more so.

I remember many times going to barking dog complaints and as a "Smart Ass" I would always get on the radio and tell the dispatcher that I would go have a talk with the dog and tell him to be quite. I would even tell them when clearing the call that I had spoke with the dog and he agreed to be quite. It use to piss the sgt.s' off and make the Lt.'s laugh. I do believe that one advantage to working a mid sized area is knowledge of the area as it helped many times solve the minor problems that can become annoyances!!!
It is ashamed thatit is "NOT COST EFFECTIVE" to have our public servants of today serve the public and help solve problems and not just "PUT A BANDAID" fix on them.

Goos luck to you 4RE KLR, Ron61, and anyone else with your "NEIGHBOR' problems......................Earl
