Well Sid, I took your advice and worked half a day on Saturday and then spent the rest day and ALL of Sunday on my car. The bride seemed content so I just kept on going. You know what I mean. I got the gas feed from regulator to carb solved. I tapped a new hole in the side and saved the Mr Gasket fuel lines. I primed the engine last night. Take a look at the picture below. You can see the
oil stream being feed from the #62 hole I drilled in the
oil galley plug. I have the primer drive tilted out of the way to take the picture which would otherwise be bathed in
oil. Meanwhile the oil pressure gauge was reading 77. Anyone building an engine should do this to help the distributor gear to cam gear problem. Should have the driveshaft back in the next couple of days, final connections are pretty much done. 10..9..8..7
