Default 1970 Lotus Seven Replica

Built by Locost cars LTD in the United Kingdom, one of the premier Lotus replica builders. The chassis is made from boxed steel, with an all aluminum body (except for the nose cone, dash cowl, and fenders). The color combination is a classic British Racing green with yellow trim. This car is powered by a European 1300cc Kent crossflow engine with a single weber downdraft carb. It has a hi performance sports tuned exhaust and a close ratio 4spd transmission. Disk brakes in front, drum brakes in the rear, with coil over shocks at all four corners. This car handles like it is on rails, almost like a motorcycle on four wheels. No hype, just a nice convertible. When is the last time you saw one of these on the road, and with right hand drive no less. Was shown in the Verde Museum for many years, now sitting in the back of my very cramped one car garage (see bottom picture). A turn key, road worthy car, the only thing it needs is a front end alignment, get in, and you could drive it cross country if you were so inclined, getting 25mpg along the way. Price is reasonably set at $12,000 for this fun little weekend driver.
