I've never had it on a dyno yet. I built it at my house and stuffed it under it the hood (tight fit by the way). I need to make some final adjustments and some tuning and then I WILL be taking it to the dyno.
My "game plan" for this engine was to more or less "duplicate" what was available "back in the day". 1964 Iron high riser heads and matching 2X4 intake with a flat tappet cam. With the exception of the custom pistons designed for zero deck height this IS what the original Cobras had in 1965.
NOTE:
Original piston height specs were .030 below deck (427 Side Oiler) and the word "quench" did not yet exist. Of course compression ratio's and octane was higher back then. 10+ to 12+ C.R. being pretty common. I have to deal with 92 octane, and the motor STILL rocks!
