You are precisely correct in your thinking. I bought 2 of them and a friend of mine is building the second one. They are Side Oiler castings with the Screw in Plugs, Side Oiler galleys (undrilled), etc. but they are configured as Center Oilers, machine drilled for hydraulics. We see no reason to drill them out as Center Oilers and since KC is doing the build, I don't think he does either. They're good castings and we paid just over 3 grand for the 2 of them but one was freshly bored (ready for assembly) and included new custom pistons and the other included the rotating assembly at a standard bore. We didn't steal them but we feel we paid about what they were worth, components inclusive. Much more than that and you might as well spring for an after market block.
