My Hemi Bee is 1 of 92 4 speed coupes built in 1969. It is a real WM23J code Hemi Bee, but the original engine was replaced years ago (I think the car was used as a drag car since it is in superb condition with low miles and that's why it doesn't have the original engine any longer). It is basically "stock" which means it's a 2x4bbl 426 Street Hemi making around 500HP. The car has a 4.10 Dana rear (stock on the car) and is, in FACT, a real thumper!! Years ago when my buddy bought the car off me (yeah, I was dumb enough to sell it BUT lucky enough that he wouldn't sell it to anyone but me and I bought it back from him around 6 years ago), he completely restored the car and won LOTS of trophys with it and it was featured in some car magazine. Last show it was in, it won "People's Choise" and "Best in Show" awards. Car needs some TLC that I intend to give it SOON to put it back into "show condition" (i.e. a few MINOR paint chips here and there since Danny drove the car - it wasn't a "trailer queen" show car, and it's gotten a few dings/scratches while it's been in my garage
( The car does start and run, BUT I need a real Hemi expert to sort out some fuel/carburetor problems to make her driveable again - car has been sitting for over 10 years in Dan's and then my garage. As soon as I get the "second" on my house, I'm gonna get her all spiffied up and back on the street. That ought to really piss the neighbors off...... "NOW what the ..ell is he pulling outta his garage this time? That x#@*ing LOUD cobra or that x#@*ing LOUD SuperBee??" Should make for some more FUN!!!
