You will need the supplied regulator with the blue pump.
I imagine it had the red pump,it doesn't need one.
red - 7 psi & 97 gph
blue - 14 psi & 110 gph.
You'll flood the carb and engine compartment without the reg..
Set it 6 - 7 psi
