Default LCS updates

Man there is a lot going on!

I went out yesterday to measure out the lot for the CobraX. Nice big flat lot with little to get in the way.

The best part, it is right across the street from the hotels! There are restuarants, theatres, hobby shops and general shopping all there in case you get bored

Vendors and manufacturers. You are going to have three full days to display to the public if you wish!!!!

We have a lot just for rig and trailer parking. Plus a lot just for you to set up to display to the public and the participants. Best of all, this lot is close to a intersection traveled by as much as 50,000 cars a day, along side the road, directly across the street from the hotels, right next door to the CobraX and available for you to set up and display ALL weekend. Of course, on Saturday, you will want to be in London! You could crawl to the display area from the hotels if you want. And there is NO way the public can miss you!

Vendors and manufacturers. Next year we could do some big time advertising locally (all of central Ohio, what, 2 million people?) if you want it. Talk to us about it at the show.

The tent, tables and chairs are lined up for the weekend. They are available for anyone to use all weekend and are directly next the the hotels. Of course on Saturday night, they are for just us and our special guests.

Speaking of Saturday night, many of the most famous members of the Shelby racing team will be making an 'appearence' that night but whats more, they seem to want to know what the dates are for next year to clear the calendars! Could be a very, very cool reoccuring event.

Magazine coverage. Of course there will be the local media, but the magazines will be there as well! More on that tomorrow.

Open trackers and those looking to improve their driving skills...... Next year could be very exciting for you. Combined with the regular LCS events, this could make the event as long as five days for those of you interested. For those of you not, of course there will be the 'standard' three day fair. Of course much needs to happen before this becomes official for next year.

We definiatly want to keep the same flavor, but add more value and options for all.

Speaking of next year, how about a turn key car built and featured throughout the year in one of the magazines as next years car? In the works and if it comes about, something for many of us to get behind!

Of course we also have someone lined up in case of break down. 100 mile radius. Details to come.

Shirts and stuff? You got them. Got a lot of great ideas for them next year.

Cool photographer lined up for this year. He can do any thing you want with pictures he takes of your car. I have some business cards with mine on it! More details on him probably as well tomorrow. Very reasonable I thought as well!

Don't forget to get in some dyno time! They are with us on Saturday in London and I would imagine if the demand is there, at the CobraX.

Obviously, some of this is set in stone for this year, but I also want to give you some idea of what may be coming your way next year! It is up to all of us. We are always interested in suggestions. What went well, what was wrong, what you would like to see. We will be listening!

Watch over the next couple of weeks as more and more of the final details become available! Of course, all of this information will be in your registration package. For those of you that decide at the last minute, don't worry, we will print off some extras just for you! But I would recommend trying to reserve a room!

Oh, of course registration will be set up on Thursday at the hotels and easy to find. There will also be some one there on Friday for those getting there later. We will have some staff shirts made up so finding out information should be easier for you.

Remember, you can register at www.londoncobrashow.com and don't forget to get a raffle ticket (or ten )

See all of you in less then three short weeks!

Rick
