That Galaxie is really a nice car. Forget about building one and buy it.
Was that a 427 or 406 engine in it? Being a 63 1/2 I would guess it had the 427. Thanks for posting the pictures.
If you are going to build a Thunderbolt Replica, you had better start getting parts together now. Since Ford only built 100 of them, you would need to contact the Thunderbolt Owners Club and find out abut the various changes between them. Some had automatics and some had 4 speeds.
But mainly it sounds as if you had a great time and that is most important. Offer me enough to pay shipping and I will strip my car down and sell you the engine and other stuff you want.
