Recently a Mustang (Restomod- NOT an original 65 Shelby) badged as a 65 GT350SR manufactured by an unnamed company, sold at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Az. for $151,200.00 They retrofit a car similar to mine, with less horsepower, No 3" exhaust, No TKO trany, No NITROUS, No leather, No hydraulic clutch, No 5 point harness, No added insulation, No Spare, and minus several other features starting at $109,000.00. NOTE: they also start with a regular, plain, 65 Fastback Mustang! NOT a real 65 Shelby GT350!

No mine is NOT an original 65 Shelby either, and I've never tried to pass it off as one. It's better than that. It's the car Carroll Shelby would have built if he had todays modern technology and improvements available. I've owned REAL and Original numbered cars and I can assure you this one exceeds them all, in every way! "Available for a realistic price of $63,750. No tax, no auction hype or fees, no profit to the builder. Just more car for less money! If anyone wants one of the 37 original "R" model 65 GT350's then step up and pay 4X more money at $250,000 for a car you can talk about but can't drive and enjoy!

Ready to play when you are! Cruise, race, show or otherwise.12.96 sec @ 112 in the Quarter mile. 16 mpg on a 5,000 mile road tour to Nashville, TN for the 40th Mustang Anniversary celebration. One of the most photographed & video'd cars on the Mustang's Across America tour.

No expense was spared on this car, nothing forgotten or shortcut taken. This car is RIGHT and has proven it time and again. It looks, feels & sounds better, rides, handles and runs better, and has more power. A true dream to drive and enjoy. Cruises easily at ANY speed you've got guts enough to run it at.

Not a "trailer or garage queen", nor a pure show car, yet it has stacked up MANY 1st Place awards over the last 3 years. Proven to hold it's own on the drag strip or in shows against REAL numbered Shelby's and others. A car built to use any way you want and enjoy it's awesome power. With only 7,800 miles on it since the engine was installed. It's been dialed in, well sorted out and proven reliable. Ready to go when you are.

Why am I considering selling it? Simple. I've enjoyed this car immensely but it's time to go onto the next one. This is my 105th car and I'm ready for something different. Other cars I MIGHT consider (I haven't fully decided if I will or not): VIPER, awesome street rod, or other possible exotics. Valued either UP or DOWN. After owning as many fine cars as I have, it's getting harder and harder to find something better or more fun than this one.

My personal GUARANTEE! If everything I've said about this car isn't true or if you don't like it, once you've driven it, the deals off. Money back! I don't need to sell or trade it. I can assure you, this car will always remain as one of my favorites, regardless of what "name" some people chose to call it.

"Doc
