The 715 Vacuum secondary carb works great on a 289. That's what was on the 65/66 GT350's. Vey streetable and good throttle response too. If you use those float bowls on a DP 600 or 650 you will need to drill a couple of passages in the bowls since originally they only used one accelerator pump. I have one on the shelf but I am reluctant to put it back on since I have my 650 DP dialed in. The Lemans bowls will not permit any sort of drop down air cleaner housing. Consequently you housing choices are somewhat limited when combined with potential hood clearance.
