I probably don't have the optimal contact patch, but the stripes on the pavement cover the whole tread width and radial tires aren't as sensitive to pressure as the bias ply. The difference between 26# and 32# is dramatic. But then I don't have a Backdraft and they may react to tire pressures differently.
